Day 1 Mandalay – Mingun – Sagaing (21 MILES) (-, L, D)

Embarkation time is 10:00 at Shwe Kyat Yet Jetty (Mandalay), Welcome Drink and briefing. Sail upstream for two and half hour and we will arrive at the MINGUN Pagoda Complex. Short trip to see the unfinished pagoda, the Mingun Bell (weighting 90 tones), the biggest hanging undamaged bell in the world, and the "Home For The Aged". Back to the board and sail continues downstream to Sagaing. Visit to Sagaing (the most important Buddhist Religion site) for about two & half hours excursion. Enjoy the sunset over Sagaing Hill. Moor overnight at a sandbank mid-stream. After dinner guests can enjoy a Traditional Dance on the sundeck (if available). Lunch and Dinner on board.

Day 2 Sagaing – Yandabo Village (57 MILES) (B, L, D)

In the morning, cruising downstream to Yandabo Village. Sightseeing Yandabo Village, dependant on the base economy is famous for the production of terracotta from the riverbank clay. Yandabo, historically recognized for the signing of the Yandabo Treaty which took place under a tree on the riverbank in 1826 between the British and Burma. Shore excursion time is 1 hour. Back to board and cast off. Continue sailing downstream and moor overnight at near Chindwin confluence.

Day 3 Yandabo Village – Bagan (63 MILES) (B, -, -)

Cast off early morning, continue sailing downstream and approximately arrive to Bagan about 09:00 am. Disembark from board.

Bagan – River Village – Yandabo Village – Mandalay (Upstream)

Duration  : 2Nights/3Days

Destination : Mandalay

Day 1 Bagan – Shwe Pyi Thar Village (-, L, D)

Embarkation time is 10:30 at Irrawaddy Princess Jetty, Welcome Drink and briefing. The board will sail upstream. In the late afternoon, stop in at the typical river Village. We can see the cultural of Myanmar people and their living style. After a short excursion, return back on board and continuous upstream and Moor overnight on board.

Day 2 Shwe Pyi Thar Village - Yandabo Village (B, L, D)

In the early morning, continuous upstream to Yandabo Village about 9:00am. Dependant on the base economy is famous for the production of terracotta from the riverbank clay. We see the pottery making process at various stages. Yandabo, historically recognized for the signing of the Yandabo Treaty which took place under a tree on the riverbank in 1826 between the British and Royal Burmese House-hold of Ava. After a short excursion, return back on board and continuous upstream and Moor overnight on board near Chindwin confluence.

Day 3 Yandabo Village - Mandalay (B, -, -)

Early morning, continue sailing upstream and arrive to Mandalay. Disembark at about 09:00 am.

Remarks: Sightseeing may be changed due to the water level and weather condition.

Irrawaddy Princess II is a traditional Myanmar cruiser running along the mysterious Irrawaddy River. Built in 1998 and measure 134′ x 34′ x 6’6” molded depth with three decks, the ship is really a lavish Irawaddy Cruises‘ hotel floating on the Burma’s river.
