We will start at 6 am from Nyuang Shwe jetty. Once we arrive in the middle of the lake, we will see fishermen (how they catch fish with traditional ways), as well as the floating gardens and floating villages (Pauk Par village). From there, we will continue to cheroot making shop and boat making workshops in Nam Pan village, before visiting the hand lotus weaving shops in Inn Paw Khon village. After lunch, and we will go down to Samkar Lake (a major secondary lake, south of Inle lake), visiting pottery workshops on the way, as well as stopping at the Tha Khaung Pogada, made famous by King Alongsithu. At the Samkar Lake, we will see the traditional making of the Jungle Alcohol (made from rice). Crossing Samkar Lake, on the way to Phe Khon Town, we will cross villages and their plantations along the river. We will arrive at Phe Kon around 4 pm. Dinner & over night at Phe Kon Princess Hotel.
The next day after breakfast we will transfer you to Loikaw (Kayah state).
